BrainyChoice: To be Neutral/Moderate/In-The-Middle is Tough

BrainyChoice: To be Neutral/Moderate/In-The-Middle is Tough

To be Neutral/Moderate/In-The-Middle is Tough

It is whole lot easier to take a position in one extreme or the other extreme. If you are in the middle - you better be careful or else you will get dragged quickly to some extreme.

World is like a spinning circular disc - if you step out a little bit from the center of the disc you get thrown out to the extremes. That is if you are in the center and want to stay there - you better sit tight and shut up.

We can only see "Normal" Distributions in the statistics text books. There is no such thing as "Normal Distribution" in the real world - all the real world distributions are 'Ab-Normal' - i.e. most of the population is piled up in the extreme points of view.

Deadly Combination - Incompetent, Lazy, Arrogant, and Powerful

Recently I had to deal with few people who showed me how the HELL looks and feels. When I started analyzing their atributes - i figured that they are ...

Incompetent or Stupid,
Lazy,
Arrogant,
and they are connected to some Power circles.
-------
I want to keep the article short - the good example of a person with this deadly combination of characteristics is George W. Bush current president of the USA.

Each of those above characteristics by themselves are not bad - it is the combination that makes them deadly.

Only thing we can do to deal with these people is -- just bear with them - hope and pray they will go away.

"Retire Rich" - They say!

It is really amazing to see how many articles are written about "retiring rich!" It is funny to see more or less the same type of cover stories on magazines like Money and other financial magazines - they all are about retiring rich.

This stupidity reminds me what Sienfeld said - he says, in one of his comedy shows some thing like this - I don't want my money to work harder than I do. I want my money to take rest, while I work hard in making more money!

There it is - the big investment strategy - that is realistic and practical - is to keep your money safe, make more money by actually working, and save some of it and enjoy some of it by spending it.

Getting Started

Well, I did it. I started my blog today (Jan 4, 2008) - hopefully I can just send a link to my blog, instead of all those long emails to my friends.

Cheers.
